The biography of the Palestinian poet Ghazi Al-Jamal was the focus of the periodic meeting of the Poetry Association in the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists, in addition to the readings of a number of poets.
The poet Radwan Qassem started the meeting with a biography of the life of the poet Al-Jamal, who was born in Gaza 1950 He was a proud firefly, and the engineering of words until he died in 2010.
Poet Suleiman Al-Salman participated in an emotional and sentimental poem entitled “I love her.” The poet Saleh Hawari read a vertical poem entitled “Who cries for me.” Then the audience listened to sentimental and patriotic poems about martyrs and resistance from measured, prose and spoken poetry delivered by poets Hayat Nasr, Ibrahim Lafi, Qatadah Al-Zubaidi, Dr. Munther Al-Shami and Akram Saleh Samar Taghlibi, Ayham Al-Hauri, Muhammad Al-Awf, Ali Abu Rosa Rano, Baida Al-Hamad, Bakour Aroub and Radwan Qassem.
Poet and critic Helena Atallah presented a critical presentation of the participants in addition to a vertical poem that carried the spirit of modernity from within the text.
