Humans cannot travel outside due to the epidemic. After recovering, the black-faced spoonbill "A49" was found to be able to fly to Incheon, South Korea for a "vacation".

According to the Kadoorie Farm and Botanical Garden, the black-faced spoonbill was rescued in Fung Lok Wai on December 23, 2020. It was weak and had bloodstains on its right wing. When it was in South Korea, it liked to stay in Yonghyun, a waterway and pond with tidal flats, and sometimes joined groups of 2 to 46 birds, and sometimes joined a group of nearly 400 black-faced spoonbills; and when it recently stayed in Hong Kong, it was I like to be active in the wetland park and its vicinity.

The park said that understanding the situation of recovered animals after they are released into the wild can help the Wildlife Rescue Center continue to invest resources in the correct rescue methods, assist wild animals returning to the wild, and record whether the animals can adapt to the wild environment. The flight log is very important.

Birds are suspected of crashing into Mei Foo MTR Station, and the floor-to-ceiling glass becomes a suicide trap. Birdwatching Association calls for anti-collision stickers to be added. No details are mentioned in the plan, and the group hopes to retain fish farmers and bird channels
