At about 11:00 p.m. on the 19th, it was reported that the authorities received a 999 call for assistance, saying that a boat sank in the water near Da Modaozhou, and the line was disconnected shortly after the call.

A large number of rescuers rushed to the scene on rescue boats to search. Finally, the fire-fighting wheel was located north of Damodaozhou and found two people who were wearing life jackets and were still awake when they were rescued.

However, it is reported that there is another person whose whereabouts are still unknown. The person was also wearing a life jacket when he was in distress. Fire, Marine Department and Marine Police officers are searching the sea around the site.


The two rescued persons were taken by rescue boats to Wai Fung Garden Pier in Tuen Mun, and then taken to hospital by ambulance.

And until today (20th) at about 1:00 am, the helicopter of the flight service team was called to arrive at the scene and hovered over the scene to search.

It is understood that the three people who fell into the sea were all locals, and the vessel involved was a wooden sampan.
