Wrong policeman cheated Unterhachinger by tens of thousands of euros

An alleged policeman manipulated a 61-year-old from Unterhachinger so badly that he handed over tens of thousands of euros.
By the time he realized he had been scammed, it was too late.
Unterhaching
- On Tuesday, January 18, at around 2:20 p.m., a complete scam by bogus police officers occurred in the Von-Vollmar-Strasse/St.-Alto-Strasse area in Unterhaching.
A previously unknown perpetrator contacted a 61-year-old by telephone.
He claimed to be a police officer and engaged the man in conversation, reports the police headquarters.
The fraudster claimed that a list with the Unterhachinger's name had been found in the course of investigations into burglary crime.
Victim hands over tens of thousands of euros to two collectors
Through the constant and manipulative conduct of the conversation, the caller managed to persuade the 61-year-old to hand over tens of thousands of euros to two unknown collectors.
A few hours later, the 61-year-old recognized the fraud and reported it to the right police.

She is now looking for witnesses and has a description of the two pickers: Perpetrator one is about 1.85 meters tall, about 35 years old, speaks standard German;
He was dressed in a dark parka with a hood, dark trousers and dark mouth and nose protection.
Perpetrator two is about the same size, about 30 years, also spoke High German.
He was also wearing a dark hooded parka, dark pants, dark mask.
The police are looking for witnesses
Who made any observations in the Von-Vollmar-Strasse/St.-Alto-Strasse area in Unterhaching that could be related to this incident during the specified period?

Do not let any strangers into your home who cannot clearly identify themselves.
Healthy distrust and reassurance
This notice also applies to scams of a similar nature. If you receive calls from people who appear to be from another agency, make an independent call to that agency to verify that the caller was actually calling you on their behalf.
Never give any information about your financial circumstances on the phone and do not give out any bank details.
