The Judiciary today appealed to the public to beware of an email sent from the email account "teresa.cheng@judiciary.hk" suspected to contain hyperlinks to malicious files.
The judiciary confirmed that the email account was fake and reported the incident to the police.
The Judiciary reminds the public not to open any suspicious emails or click on the enclosed links.
The fake email is similar to the English name of Teresa CHENG, the Secretary for Justice, Teresa CHENG. According to government information, the correct email of the Secretary for Justice is sjo@doj.gov.hk, and will not be named after her personal name.
