Within the activities of the Circassian Cultural Week, a heritage party was held in Tishreen Hall in Aleppo today, which included introductory paragraphs on the customs and traditions of the Circassian society, its places of spread in the world, its cultural and artistic legacy, its traditional musical instruments and its popular cuisine.

The ceremony, which was held in cooperation between the Directorate of Culture and the Circassian Charitable Society, comes according to Jaber Sajour, Director of Culture, as part of the Directorate's keenness to keep pace with cultural events and activities that contribute to raising the intellectual and social level, preserving the intangible heritage in society and the importance of passing it on to future generations.

In turn, Nart Matoukh, head of the Circassian Association, pointed out that the message of the celebration is that the Syrian fabric is rich and diverse, and this is one of the reasons for its distinction in the world.

The Circassian troupe, according to its director, Fajr Suleiman, is interested in folklore as it is an essential part of the societal culture by training children to perform artistic paintings that express the stories and legends of Circassians.

Among the participants, Moataz Hallaq stated that he wanted to participate in performing the Qafa and Chechen dances to show the beauty of Circassian folklore and the beautiful and unique skills it has.
