Damascus-SANA
The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection granted emergency overtime work to the workers of the Syrian Establishment for Bakeries working on production lines in appreciation of their efforts, hard work and the great risks they are exposed to.
The decision issued by the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, and of which SANA received a copy today, stipulates that workers in Syria for “emergency” work overtime hours, in charge of producing bread and maintaining production machines, and those who work on the production lines, with four emergency overtime hours, in addition to assigning each of the following: The manager of the bakery, the storekeeper and the assistant storekeeper have two hours of emergency work.
The decision assigned the director of the institution’s branch, the head of the Administrative Development Department and the head of the financial department, to check the names of the actually entitled workers and those who are on top of their work on a regular basis so that the expenses are spent from the Syrian budget for bakeries.
This decision constitutes an important incentive to encourage and motivate workers to work within the bakery and compensate them for their fatigue in producing a loaf of bread and improving its quality.
