There were major traffic delays on the B 472 on Thursday morning after two vans collided between Wachlehen and Schweinthal.

The police blocked the main road in both directions for about an hour and a half during the rescue work.
Traffic has been diverted.
According to the officials, the driver of an Opel van, a 47-year-old from Waakirchner, and his 65-year-old passenger from Gmund encountered oncoming traffic on the snow-covered road towards Miesbach around 7 a.m. and there with the Fiat van of a 66- year-old Tegernseers collided head-on.
The Tegernseer was trapped in his car.
He had to be freed by the fire department.
Despite the head-on collision, the accident ended lightly: Because, according to witness statements, both cars were traveling at low speed, everyone involved suffered only minor injuries, with which they were taken to the Agatharied hospital.
Their vehicles were totaled and had to be towed away.
The police estimate the property damage at around 10,000 euros.
Rescue, blocking and diversion required a large contingent of rescue workers.
The Bad Wiessee police, the Miesbach, Wall, Wies and Dürnbach fire brigades and several rescue vehicles were on duty at the scene of the accident.
