British Health Minister Sajid Javid said today that Britain must learn to live with Covid-19 disease because it may remain forever.
Javid said in a statement to Sky News, "Covid will not disappear, it will remain with us for many years, perhaps forever, and we have to learn to live with it," adding, "Britain is leading Europe in the transition from a pandemic to an endemic epidemic and is ahead of others in showing how to coexist with the disease to the world."
He continued, "It is sad that people die from influenza and may die from Covid, but we are not closing our country completely."
And British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced yesterday that his country will not extend the quarantine measures after the 25th of next March, and the wearing of masks in public places will be canceled, vaccinations are permitted and work from home will be cancelled.
