An unknown vehicle hits a cyclist in Offenbach and disappears.
The police are looking for witnesses to track him down.
Offenbach – Brazen escape from an accident on Dietzenbacher Straße near Offenbach *: On Monday morning (01/17/2022) a vehicle hit a cyclist – and disappeared from the scene of the accident, the police reports.
She's looking for witnesses.
The cyclist who was hit was on the cycle path towards Offenbach at around 5.35 a.m.
The 33-year-old crossed the road on the Dreiherrnsteinweg dirt road – and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The vehicle was probably unlit, which is probably why the cyclist overlooked it.
The man fell as a result of the collision and suffered minor injuries.
Escape from an accident in Offenbach: the police are looking for witnesses
Instead of helping the injured person, the other person involved in the accident simply drove away.
The Offenbach police initiated investigations and asks witnesses to the accident to call 06183 91155-0.
In December, a woman crashed her car into a tree in Offenbach*.
A helicopter was involved in the accident.
