Revenge of the powerful media in Israel or coincidence?
A casual joke on the "Great Country" show about the poor taste of sushi offered by the Jafnica chain raises the question again.
As you may recall, about two weeks ago, Barak Abramov, one of the owners of the Asian food chain, was interviewed and tried to explain the rise in prices in his chain, after he promised only six months ago not to raise it.
In response to Marciano's poignant questions, Abramov replied in the same currency: "So why did Keshet raise advertising prices?".
The question raised a wave of polo articles in the press regarding the increase in advertising prices on television, as a result of which it was revealed that this year, too, the commercial channels have increased advertising prices.

This is not the first time that the powerful broadcaster in Israel has used a seemingly vindictive screen to respond to criticism.
About a decade ago, the creators of Keshet's flagship drama "Kidnapped" in one of the dialogues blatantly referred to Ynet's TV critic Ariana Melamed, in an episode that aired in which the character of Millie Avital was seen mentioning her name and calling her "fat and resentful."
A source on the site then responded to the remarks and said that this was "breaking all conventions".
