A government spokesman said that the government attaches great importance to children's vaccination against the new crown, and will provide them with special vaccination routes.

In terms of vaccination of Sinovac, the government will provide schools with special appointments to community vaccination centers or student health service centers and pick-up services, as well as arranging mobile vaccination stations for new crown vaccines to provide outreach vaccination services to schools to vaccinate students against Sinovac.

Schools can also contact the Education Bureau to arrange for doctors who provide COVID-19 vaccine outreach services to conduct outreach vaccinations with Sinovac vaccines.

Parents can make an appointment to get their children vaccinated against Sinovac from 8:00 a.m. tomorrow

Starting from 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, parents/guardians can make an appointment for their children to be vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine at a community vaccination center or a general outpatient clinic designated by the Hospital Authority through the thematic website of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, and accompany them to the vaccination in person.

The Chai Wan, Lam Tin, Sha Tin, Tuen Mun and Sai Wan Student Health Service Centres of the Department of Health (www.studenthealth.gov.hk/en_chi/covid19/covid19_vaccination_in_shsc.html) will expand Sinovac vaccination services to cover primary and secondary school students from tomorrow .

Eligible persons can also make an appointment to receive Sinovac vaccine through over 1,000 private doctors or clinics participating in the vaccination programme.

The government reminds that children, like adults, need to receive a 28-day interval between the first and second doses of Sinovac vaccine.
