Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit this evening (Thursday) informed Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai that he is setting up a team to investigate allegations of illegal use of NSO's Pegasus spyware. The team will be headed by Deputy Attorney General Amit Merri.
"In order to systematically and thoroughly examine the aspects related to listening through computer communication, I have decided, within the powers given to me by law, to set up a team to examine the issue as a whole."
