Looking at Pete Davidson it's hard to explain why the most beautiful and sexy women in the world are so attracted to him, and now Kim Kardashian, West's new ex-wife, has also been added to his list of conquests.

Congratulations to Megan Fox, who got engaged last week to her partner - Mashingan Kelly and celebrated with a huge ring with two stones, a photo of the proposal from 4 different angles and a dessert in the form of drinking each other's blood.
They join their favorite couple - Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, also like Mashingan Kelly - a tattooed, tall, skinny rocker who looks like he's never been in the sun.
In general, lately we're seeing more and more men we once would not look in the direction of going out with the hottest women in the world - Pete Davidson for example, who looks like he just rolled out of bed after a night of smoking, and other skinny and tired looking men who have become the hot thing of the season.

But the truth is that the standard of what is considered "sexy" in men varies no less than that of women - if once the round Marilyn Monroe was the perfect woman, followed by Kate Moss and heroin chic, and from there we rolled into Kardashians, then it makes sense that men would have to conform to a changing beauty standard.
True - when it comes to women each has its own taste, and there are men who will be amazing every decade - Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are a classic example of this, but while hovering over the "beautiful and right" Olympus, the "handsome" standard changes all the time - and so it is Seen over the decades:

50s:
Bad Boys with a veiled look and lush hair - the fifties were undoubtedly the years of the Bad Boys, those who rebelled against conventions and power and brought with them something new and powerful. Elvis Presley, young Marlon Brando and James Dean loved women (and lots of them), alcohol and motorcycles and squirted sex appeal that would also never faint. Women begged for a look or for the night, and they did not hide their enjoyment of the class. They were all masculine, dressed in jeans, leather pants and tight-fitting shirts, and nurtured a relatively average body - not too muscular but also not skinny, and all had a comb in their pocket, yet these gel-full mane of hair needed constant care.
The 60's:
Someone to lean on - After a decade of men doing good to the body but bad to the heart, came the decade of the "good" men, the kind who gave women the feeling that they could be leaned on without running towards the next couples exchange party.
Beautiful men with puppy-eyes and a fondness for suits like Paul Newman and Robert Redford, and generally those who look like their lives are tidy - with a perfect home, a well-groomed wife, a few children and a car in the driveway.
Think "very manly", just not knowing what's going on with Don Draper from the moment he leaves his beautiful house.

70s:
After a whole decade of suits, the beauty ideal changes again and this time takes a completely different direction.
The 70s symbolize the era of free love.
The men resisted wars, frames and uniforms and usually held a lean and muscular body, a product of many hours of smoking and sleeping, and long, well-groomed hair.
They were open to experiences, not afraid of deep and smoky conversations about emotions and the universe and mostly looking for their way to build a better society and enjoy the journey.
The stars of the decade were open-shirt-loving Mick Jagger, David Bowie and also John Travolta, who held a big mane, blue eyes and memorable dance steps.

80s:
After a decade of men talking about emotions and exchanging clothes with their partners came strong, muscular and shirtless men like Arnold Schwarzenegger, making everyone run to the gym.
In the 80's, no less than three "Rambo" films were released, which made Sylvester Stallone - the man, the muscles and the square jaw, the hot star of the decade and the TV came "The Bay Watch", which included (except for really beautiful women) mostly sketched and shirtless men in red shorts.
They did not talk too much, but certainly gave the women something to look at.

2000s
It may come as a market for some millennials who feel that the 2000s were just a few years ago, but these are men who were hot over 20 years ago.
These years exaggerated the hot man of the 90s, the one who would spend hours in the barbershop and with the gel, and sanctified the metrosexual masculinity.
Men who talked openly about losing hair, held on to an invested cosmetics shelf that included face cream, body lotion and sometimes even peels and liked to feel beautiful and right.
This is the era of David Beckham at a time when he looked like an upgraded nest doll, and lots of Latin men who showed us what it looked like (and sounded like!) In Spanish, with Enrique Iglesias always sweating just the perfect way, and other men smearing baby oil on his chest, like Jesse Medcliffe (remember the gardener of Desperate Housewives?) And of course Ricky Martin.

2010 onwards:
This is a decade that prepared us for today's "Puck Boys".
The hot men of the last decade were handsome, but they mostly possessed a personality that included a lot of self-love and sharp, vicious humor.
Evil hipsters, mostly.
Men like Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper, beautiful creatures with a sense of taste and great work, who are nice to everyone but love first and foremost, themselves.
Yes, they can fall in love, but only with the most beautiful woman in the world, and usually after they have trampled thousands of hearts along the way.
Their undisputed king is of course Ryan Reynolds, a tall and handsome man with a one-off sense of humor who to this day cuts his wife, Blake Lively, from Instagram photos and uploads a vicious collage of horrific photos of her every birthday.

It's too early to say what this decade will bring, but judging by one of the trendiest women in the world - it looks mostly like Pete Davidson.
Still, years of global epidemic and general depression are bringing even the most equal men to give up the gym, lose the tan, do more and more tattoos and develop at least one addiction so that the future does not look bright.
And on the other hand - maybe someone who can organize you in four languages is better than one who will steal your eye cream.
