Hartz and sincerely: Petra's sad suspicion – did Heiko know of approaching death?

"Hartz and warm" - Petra still doesn't come to rest after Heiko's death.

In the new episode, she wonders if he had already foreseen his impending demise:

"Hartz and warm" in the Benz barracks is THE social documentary on German television. Since 2017, viewers have been accompanying the protagonists in their everyday hurdles in the social hotspot of Mannheim*. Whether looking for a job, a new apartment or life with Hartz IV - there is always something to tell in the Benz barracks in Mannheim. In the past, the residents had to deal with one or the other death*: In November 2021, Dagmar, the "good soul of the Benz barracks", died unexpectedly*.

Also "Hartz and warm" protagonist Petra had to say goodbye to a loved one in the past: her fiancé Heiko died of heart failure *.

Even though the native of Berlin was already suffering from cancer and had heart problems, his death was unexpected.

In episode 48 of "Hartz and cordially - day after day Benz barracks" Petra now wonders whether Heiko knew about his impending death - and that's the only reason why he moved to Mannheim so quickly.

As MANNHEIM24 * already reported, Petra and Heiko got to know each other through Petra's job at a web radio.

After that everything happened very quickly: In the October episodes of "Hartz und Herzen" from 2021, Heiko moved to Petra in Mannheim.

The couple set up their love nest on the edge of the Benz barracks.

Petra's children, Selina and Pascal, supported the newly in love.

They were happy for their mother's new love.

Heiko has struggled with his health in the past: the native of Berlin suffered a total of three heart attacks and developed cancer.

He took over 30 medications a day.

Due to his precarious state of health, Heiko lives in a nursing home in Berlin.

The move to Petra in Mannheim was not only a new start from a medical point of view, but also from a psychological point of view.

Thanks to Petra, he regained new courage to face life – and soon made a marriage proposal to the woman from Mannheim*.

Then the shocking news: Petra's fiancé Heiko is dead. "During the day we cooked together with Heiko.

We had eaten and Heiko then crouched over in the room and [cut together] music," said Petra in an October episode of "Hartz and cordially".

After the death of her lover, Petra took care of finding a suitable resting place*.

Again and again, the Mannheim resident has doubts about Heiko's sudden death.

Only recently she dealt with his true cause of death *.

Petra searches for a suitable cemetery for her deceased fiancé.

In episode 48 of "Hartz and cordially - day after day Benz barracks" Petra still does not come to rest.

In addition to worrying about how she should pay for Heiko's funeral, she deals with the question of whether Heiko knew that he was going to die and that's why he moved to Mannheim so quickly: "It just seemed strange to all of us: Why does he want to come here quickly now?” Petra asks herself in episode 48. As a possible reason, she cites longing for one another, but that can't have been everything.

"I suspect Heiko knew more," speculates the Mannheim resident about Heiko's premonition of his death.

Petra's son Pascal also finds the whole thing strange: "I said from the start that it was all too fast," said the 20-year-old. Petra and Heiko met in December 2020. He actually didn't want to move to Petra in Mannheim until May 2021. However, after his two tumors were diagnosed, the native of Berlin wanted to come to Mannheim as soon as possible, says Pascal on "Hartz und Herzen".

Heiko repeatedly emphasized what a great family Petra and her children are and said sentences like "Thank you for letting me be with you". "It was always like saying goodbye, somehow," explains Petra on the TV show. The woman from Mannheim repeatedly warned him not to talk like that. But Heiko is said to have expressed his gratitude every day.

"If you listen to this every day and then he died, then he practically said thank you at the time," says Petra.

"So he knew something," concludes the Mannheim resident.

Whether Heiko actually knew about his death remains a mystery.

The other Benz barrackers are also currently plagued by worries: ex-resident Michael, for example, is again struggling with his umbilical hernia*.
