A male netizen who lured a 17-year-old female student to a hotel by borrowing words to watch a Netflix series has continued the trial for marijuana rape.
The female victim was questioned by the defense today (20th). The defense said that the victim had disclosed to the defendant that she had been smoking marijuana for half a year to a year. On the day of the incident, she said that she did not want to “smoke” outdoors, so the two went to the hotel, and the victim was in the room. Knowing that he was smoking marijuana, he also said that he was "stone", and then took the initiative to grab the defendant's hand, and told the defendant to "quickly insert it", pointing out that the victim agreed to sexual intercourse at the time, the victim denied the statement.
Defendant Yip Weida (30 years old, unemployed) is charged with raping a woman X at a hotel in Tsuen Wan on June 9, 2020, and administering a drug, namely marijuana, to X to obtain illegal sex.

Admits smoking, denies mentioning marijuana

The defense pointed out that X had revealed to the defendant that he had been smoking marijuana for half a year to a year, and the defendant also claimed that he had the habit of smoking marijuana, and asked X if he wanted to "smoke", but X said that she had no memory of this.

The defense said that the defendant took off his pants after arriving at the hotel room and suggested that the two start "smoke", adding that X knew that he was smoking marijuana at the time, but X denied the claim.
