The workshops and mechanisms of service institutions in Tartous governorate continue to remove the accumulated snow on many roads, after they opened vital roads in the governorate’s countryside.
In a statement to SANA’s correspondent between the Director of Technical Services in Toos, Eng. Ahmed Suleiman, that the Directorate’s mechanisms shoveled the accumulated snow on the roads in several axes in the governorate, including the cities and villages of Sheikh Badr, Burmana Al-Mashaikh, Al-Raqma, the church, Bath Qinya and the Majdal Hill, and also opened the Seba-Batalous road and the Sibba-Kafr Gawaya road. - Sulaiman’s fortress, Sibbah-Ain Bashreti-Baseera Al-Jurd road and Mashta Al-Helou-Jenin-Baseera Al-Jard road in the Safita area, in addition to isolating the collapse that occurred yesterday evening on the main road to the village of Nahl Al-Anazah in the Baniyas countryside.
Suleiman pointed out that the mechanisms and workshops are ready 24 hours a day to deal with any emergency.
For his part, Director of Readiness in Tartous Governorate, Samir Diop, indicated that a working cell was formed to coordinate between the administrative units in which snow fell in the areas of Qadmous, Safita and Al-Dreikish. All roads were opened.
