Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa-SANA
The comprehensive settlement process continued in the two settlement centers in the city of Deir ez-Zor and in al-Sabkha in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, which includes wanted civilians, fleeing military personnel, and those who have failed the mandatory and reserve services.
SANA’s reporter pointed out that dozens of citizens flocked today to the two centers and settled their situation despite the cold weather, the obstacles and the arbitrary measures taken by the “Qasd” militia against the citizens in some areas of the island to prevent them from reaching the settlement centers.
A number of dignitaries and tribal sheikhs indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the settlement is “a valuable opportunity for the wanted persons to return to their normal lives, contribute to the reconstruction of the homeland, reunite its children, and constitute a positive turning point in their lives and the lives of their families.”
Ahmed Al-Harbi stated that he came from the town of Al-Bahra and made a settlement in Deir Ezzor to return with his family to their normal lives and for his children to be able to enroll in their schools after they were deprived of education throughout the previous years.
Sami Al-Alawi also made it clear that he was behind the compulsory service and settled his situation to join the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army, calling on all the young men who failed to serve the military to take advantage of this opportunity and join this settlement that allows those who joined it to perform service within the governorate of Deir ez-Zor.
In al-Sabkhah center in Raqqa countryside, the settlement process for the people of the province continued, as a SANA reporter reported that dozens of citizens joined the settlement today, despite the great obstacles that the “Qasd” militia, linked to the American occupation, is still creating in front of those wishing to settle their situation and return to their normal lives.
The reporter indicated that the settlement process will continue in the coming days to allow all those involved in it and those wishing to join it.
