"The only evidential datum represented by the existence of multiple donations of money by Silvio Berlusconi in favor of Danilo Mariani is not at all endowed with the probative force that is also conferred and recognized by the public prosecutor", or that the commitment of the the first to pay the second would have been the consideration for Mariani to bear false witness.
Thus the judges of Siena in the motivation of the sentence with which on 21 October Berlusconi and the former pianist of Arcore Danilo Mariani were acquitted because the fact does not exist on the accusation of corruption in judicial acts in the Ruby ter trial in Siena.
"The monthly frequency of payments, the identical instrument (always traceable) constituted by the use of bank transfers, in one with the same nature of the amount gradually given, in the opinion of the Board, represent, on the whole, in agreement and convergence signs from which we can infer the existence, between Silvio Berlusconi and Danilo Mariani, of a stable (and already in existence for some time) relationship of a (at least) professional nature dating back at least to the month of January 2008 ".
Thus in the acquittal of Berlusconi and the pianist of Arcore Mariani from the accusation of corruption in the Ruby ter trial in Siena.
