The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that a group of six large landing ships of the Russian Navy has been sent to the Mediterranean for exercises.
On the website of the Russian Defense Ministry, a group of the Baltic and Northern Fleets, consisting of six large landing ships, left the port of Baltiysk on January 15 and began moving towards the exercise area in the Mediterranean.
According to the ministry, this group of ships is currently in the North Sea crossing.
