The Director of the Syrian Company for the Storage and Distribution of Petroleum Products “Fuel” Engineer Ahmad Al-Shammat confirmed that the distribution of the second batch of 50 liters of heating oil to the registrants will start on Saturday 22-1-2022.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced the start of “registration” for the second batch of heating oil, starting tomorrow, Friday.
Al-Shammat explained in a statement to SANA that the distribution rates for the first batch exceeded, on average, 97 percent, and that those whose circumstances prevented them from obtaining it can register to fill out the two batches together, and they will have priority in mobilizing.
Regarding the sale of diesel fuel at the cost price, Al-Shamat mentioned that a fuel company has allocated in Damascus Al-Mahdi station in Al-Qaboun, Al-Faris station, Daraa highway, and Al-Alawi station by foot, to fill the quantity of 50 liters of diesel for each family card at a price of 1700 Syrian pounds per liter, as of tomorrow, pointing out that about 50 stations will be allocated in All governorates for this purpose, in coordination with the executive offices of each governorate.
