The district will invest heavily in education in the future

The expansion of the Vaterstetten grammar school has been under construction since last year.
The Gymnasium Poing and the vocational school center in Grafing are still on the waiting list.

The district needs them: the Poing high school, the Grafing vocational school center, the vocational school for 'state-certified nannies'.
And obviously more
Ebersberg district committees will decide whether the new high school in Poing will be built first and then the new vocational school center in Grafing, or vice versa.
In both cases, the school location has already been determined.
At the end of the year, a feasibility study should be drawn up for one of these educational institutions, which are new to the district, and the project should be taken off the waiting list and included in the 2023 budget.
The expansion of the high school in Kirchseeon is considered a done deal, but the start of construction has not yet.
The expansion is also due to the fact that this school was originally built as a G8 school and is now run as a G9.
A location is still being sought in the Ebersberg district for the educational facility that was approved in December 2021 but is completely new in the district, the vocational school for 'state-certified nanny'. In view of the many vacancies in childcare, District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß considers it very important that this educational facility can be put into operation as early as autumn 2023. A total of 100 trainees are to be taught here in shift/block classes. The administrative district acts as the bearer of material expenses for this school.
With almost the same argument, the blatant shortage of nursing staff, the CSU district councilors Martin Wagner and Marina Matjanovski recall a review application from 2018; this should examine the cooperation with the Ebersberger district clinic in order to be able to offer more vocational training as a nursing specialist in the district. A 'vocational school for nursing' has already been integrated into the district clinic. However, this 'vocational school for nursing' must remain in Ebersberg in order to be able to meet the training and financing conditions. The application for approval aims to increase the number of students and training rooms. To this end, the CSU district councils proposeto have the appropriate use of the empty rooms in the former savings bank building as temporary classrooms for the transition classes checked. An attempt to partially outsource this facility to Kirchseeon has already failed. are
