The Ukrainian police announced today that they had received a report from an unknown source about the mining of the residence of the country's President Vladimir Zelensky in the capital, Kiev.
According to the Ukrainian newspaper Vesti, the police immediately closed the premises temporarily and prevented entry to it, pending the examination of the building.
The newspaper added that a number of police cars and ambulances were deployed near the headquarters in anticipation of any emergency.
Zelensky left Kiev today for the Polish capital Warsaw to hold talks with President Anzı Duda on issues of common interest.
