Maintenance workers in the grinding and silting divisions of Salamiyah Mill in Hama countryside were able to raise the production capacity of the mill from 370 tons to 470 tons per day.
The director of the Syrian Grain Corporation branch in Hama, Engineer Walid Jakeesh, told SANA reporter that the maintenance and improvement work that took place at the hands of mill cadres in the milling and soybean divisions included the rehabilitation of 3 non-working milling machines, the replacement of dozens of old (cylinders) with modern ones, and the preparation and addition of improvements to the feeder machines (soil sorting). ) and equipping classification tables and separators for all production lines.
Jakesh pointed out that these works contributed to increasing the efficiency of the mill's production by 100 tons per day, and this addition, in turn, boosted the level of flour stores in Hama, which will reflect positively on securing the furnaces' needs of the material.
