The Tunisian coast guard forces recovered four bodies, while the search continues for seven migrants after their boat sank off the coast of Kerkennah Island, in the center of eastern Tunisia.

"A boat sank off the coast of Kerkennah island last night, with 32 migrants on board, according to the testimony of survivors," Tunisian National Guard spokesman Houssam Eddine Jabali told AFP today, noting that 21 were rescued and four bodies, including a child, were recovered. It is noteworthy that these migrants are of Tunisian nationality and were heading towards the European coasts, as Italy is one of the main entry points to Europe for migrants from North Africa, especially from Tunisia and Libya.
