A8: Motorway police Holzkirchen stops "adventurous" bus transport

A minibus pulled a larger minibus on a trailer on the A8 and was overtaken by trucks.
The police then escorted him to the police station.
Holzkirchen – Officers from the Holzkirchen motorway police station pulled a minibus with a trailer out of traffic on Friday afternoon, February 21.
The team seemed "adventurous in its entirety," reports a spokesman for the agency.
The truck was overtaken by trucks
Specifically, according to the press report, it was “a Moldovan minibus” that was traveling on the A8 in the direction of Salzburg.
The minibus in turn pulled a larger minibus on a trailer behind it.
On its journey, the team was even overtaken by trucks.
The "adventurous-looking team" was accompanied by the officials to the office, where they were checked and weighed.
The police officers found that the total weight of the trailer was 16 percent (580 kg), the trailer load of the towing vehicle was 103 percent (2300 kg) too heavy and the combination was almost 50 percent (2340 kg) too heavy.
Minibus had to be unloaded
A number of other, albeit minor, violations were identified during the inspection.
"The 52-year-old professional driver from the Republic of Moldova had to pay a fine of 750 euros and was only able to continue his journey after the charged bus was unloaded."
