Mindelheim – Around 1,200 “walkers” in Mindelheim on Monday expressed their unease about current restrictions and any compulsory vaccination.

As the police have now announced, they are currently investigating the case of an approximately 30-year-old man who is said to have attracted attention with Nazi slogans on Monday evening.

Event manager Sandra Jungbold emphasized at the beginning of the event on Monday: "We come in love and in peace." And right-wing extremism and xenophobia have no place here. But apparently not all "walkers" shared this opinion, if one wants to believe a presumed witness. He turned to the police officers on site while the demonstration was still happening and said that a drunk man around 30 years old with a strong build and a dark "Engelbert Strauss" jacket was standing at a café just in front of the upper gate, there loudly pöble and shouted a Nazi slogan.

The police now explains: "The person could not be found by the emergency services at the said location." What makes things even more difficult: The said witness was already gone before the officials could record his personal details.

The police are now asking him to get in touch in order to reconstruct the facts.

In addition, the PI Mindelheim has initiated investigations into the suspicion of inciting content/use of National Socialist slogans against unknown persons.

Other people who have made observations in this matter are also asked to contact the Mindelheim police on Tel. 08261/76850.
