The DNA present on the chewing gum found in Giuliano Gilardi's bed on the day he was stabbed to death on December 27, 2011 in Saint-Christophe (Aosta), belongs to Salvatore Agostino, one of the four suspects in the ten-year murder file after the facts by the prosecutor of Aosta.
This is what emerges - ANSA has learned - from the expert opinion carried out by the geneticist appointed by the investigating judge of Aosta in the context of the probative incident and now available to the parties in view of the hearing on 3 February next.
Agostino, a 61-year-old construction worker, has always declared himself a stranger to the crime.
