For the first time, critics of the Corona measures have officially registered a demonstration.

As usual, the general conditions were set at a meeting.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The organizer of the meeting is a newly founded citizens' initiative entitled "Fürstenfeldbruck sticks together", as a spokeswoman for the district office said when asked.

According to its own information, the initiative is for a free vaccination decision.

As the spokeswoman for the authorities explains, the demonstration march was registered for the street, which would be a change from the so-called walks, which always took place on the sidewalks.

The demo was discussed during a conversation between three representatives of the initiative, the police, the city and the district office on Thursday.

Reason: A massive impairment of public transport and road traffic in general would have been expected from the meeting in the form registered, according to a spokeswoman for the district office.

Back on the sidewalk

During the conversation, the amicable solution was reached that the meeting would take place on the sidewalks as before.

The police will briefly stop traffic at the street crossings so that the demonstration can cross the street.

This measure is carried out in close coordination with the district office.

The registration included meetings with the same content every Monday up to and including March 21, the spokeswoman said.

"We will decide next week, depending on how things go on Monday, whether this coordinated procedure will remain in place for future meetings or whether changes will be necessary in consultation with everyone involved," she said.

The initiative has registered the demo with 1000 to 1200 people.

Recently there had also been counter-demos during the so-called Corona walks.

The organizers of the protest against the walkers announced that they wanted to be present in Fürstenfeldbruck again next Monday.

There is already a registration for this.

The counter-demo starts at 5.30 p.m. and takes place again in front of the Sparkasse.

The applicants expect up to 180 participants.
