"Because of a night and fog decision in the Ministry of Health, millions of double-vaccinated employees could soon receive less wages in the middle of the omicron wave," tweeted Marc Biadacz (SPD), member of the Bundestag.
The federal government must "quickly create clarity and correct this mistake!", demanded the politician.
According to the RKI, 48.3 percent have received a booster vaccination so far
Since the beginning of November, employees who have to be in quarantine have been entitled to continued payment of wages.
This does not apply to unvaccinated workers.
According to the RKI, the vaccination rate for booster vaccinations is 48.3 percent (as of January 20).
This would affect millions of Germans.
Especially since numerous people who want to be vaccinated cannot yet get boosters because they are waiting for an adapted Omikron vaccine.
Companies like Biontech, Moderna and Valneva are working flat out on a suitable vaccine.
