Looking at the studies of this beginning of the year, it seems difficult for the former socialist senator to repeat his performance.

Ifop credited him with 9% of the vote last weekend, far behind Emmanuel Macron or Marine Le Pen.

But this is precisely the score assigned to it in February 2017 by the same institute.

Tested on February 1, 2017, Jean-Luc Mélenchon posted a small 9% when his socialist rival, Benoît Hamon, crowned with his victory in the primary, pranced at 17%.
