Arminia Bielefeld has left the relegation place in the Bundesliga for the time being.
The East Westphalians won 2-0 (2-0) at Eintracht Frankfurt at the start of the 20th matchday on Friday evening - the Bielefeld team hadn't managed that for a decade and a half.
Patrick Wimmer in the fifth minute and Alessandro Schöpf (27th) scored the goals for the guests.
Frankfurt/Main - Arminia has been unbeaten for five games and climbed to 14th place in the table with 21 points for at least one night.
The Frankfurters missed the jump to the international ranks and remain eighth for the time being and without a win in the new year.
