Germany recorded a record number of new daily infections with the Corona virus, as the number of infections increased by 140,160 cases and deaths to 170 cases during the past 24 hours.
Official figures and statistics for the last seven days show a record increase in the frequency of the epidemic in Germany, as the “Omicron” mutant of the Corona virus has become the dominant strain in the country.
Yesterday, Germany recorded more than 100,000 cases of corona.
Earlier, German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach said that the number of HIV infections is expected to continue to rise for several weeks before peaking next month.
This record rise in the number of infections comes despite the fact that the German authorities tightened restrictions to limit the spread of infection, as they restricted going to bars and restaurants to people who had received booster vaccines or who had undergone tests in addition to full vaccination or recovery.
