For almost five years, viewers have been rooting for the residents in their everyday adventures.

New episodes have been on TV since January, this time it's about the corona vaccination, World Cup and travel destinations.

The good soul of the Benz barracks died a few months after the shooting*.

Most residents of the former working-class district in Mannheim* love their place of residence.

Neighborly help is very important here.

But one family no longer wants to live in the square city.

As MANNHEIM24 * reports, she would like to wait for the moving date with her suitcases packed.

However, it is still not entirely clear whether it will work at all.

Sascha, Petra and the two children want to turn their backs on Mannheim.

Already in the past episodes of "Hartz und Herzen" * the couple has admitted that they want to move.

Actually, the first plan was to move to the neighboring city of Ludwigshafen*, as Petra revealed at the time.

“We are also planning our move to LU in two years.

We just want to put a little money away so that we can have money together for new furniture the year after next,” says the Mannheim native.

But now the family has a new goal in mind.

In the 47th episode of "Hartz and cordially - day by day Benz barracks" Petra, Sascha and the children visit relatives of the 33-year-old.

"I'm expecting a lot from Saarbrücken at the moment, because I also want to move up and we have to like the area.

Everything has to fit.

The two days could decide our future, but I think we like it," says Petra.

After their short trip in Saarland, Sascha and Petra return satisfied to the Benz barracks. Apparently they liked the state capital very much. The air, the nature, the tranquility - all this inspires the family. "So it looks like we're really emigrating to Saarbrücken now," explains the 42-year-old. Together with Petra's uncle and aunt they will now keep their eyes open for a 5-room apartment. "Then we'll drive up, take a look and then we'll be gone faster than we'd like," says Petra. It is not difficult to understand that it is so easy for her to disappear from Mannheim. After all, part of her family lives in Saarland, her mother Christa died a few months ago in Mannheim* and the family was recently broken into.

Work isn't a problem either.

"We get work straight away, an employment contract right away," says Sascha.

A company in Saarland is already in prospect, but the employer has not yet spoken to the relocation plans.

When the two can really pack their moving boxes remains to be seen.

One thing is certain: When Petra, Sascha and the children have moved out, it will be over for them with "Hartz and cordially", because the RTLZWEI team is not shooting any episodes there - at least not for the moment.
