What's going on in the Catholic Church?

The new historical investigation carried out by the diocese of Munich into its management of sexual abuse since 1945, made public on January 20, calls into question the governance, between 1977 and 1982, of one of its most famous archbishops, Mgr Joseph Ratzinger, later became Benedict XVI.

The latter anticipated by demanding that the 80-page brief of his lawyer, Martin Pusch, who denies the accusations, be included in the spectacular report of more than a thousand pages published by an independent law firm commissioned by the diocese.

But it would appear, according to this document, that Bishop Ratzinger did not correctly manage four cases during his mandate.

One of them had already been known for about ten years.
