The American occupation aircraft completely destroyed the building of the Technical Institute in the city of Al-Hasakah under the pretext of fleeing from the Industrial Secondary Prison in it, while its QSD militia imposed a total ban on the city of Al-Hasakah and prevented entry and exit from it and to it.
SANA’s reporter reported that the intensive overflights of US occupation forces’ helicopters continued in parallel with the continuation of clashes in the vicinity of the prison and the neighboring Al-Zohour and Ghweran neighborhoods between the SDF militia and ISIS members and the escapees from the prison, which resulted in dozens of deaths on both sides, in addition to the death of 6 civilians.
The militia's repressive practices against the residents, during their storming of houses in the neighborhoods of Ghuwairan and Al-Zohour, with the support of the American aircraft, led to the displacement of thousands of people from their homes towards the rest of the city's neighborhoods.
The Russian Defense Ministry has warned that the use of air by the US occupation forces to pursue escapees from prison will threaten the lives of civilians and infrastructure.
Deputy Director of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, said in a statement this evening: “The warplanes of the US forces were involved in the process of eliminating terrorists escaping from prison, and it is highly likely that the use of air targeting means will lead to the destruction of infrastructure facilities in the city and casualties among the civilian population.
Zuravlyov pointed out that the situation in northeastern Syria raises great concern, calling on the SDF militia to ensure the security of the civilian population and public facilities.
According to the account of the Qasd militia, the western gate of the prison was attacked last night using a car bomb and a booby-trapped motorcycle, followed by an attack by ISIS cells from outside the prison, with detainees inside it carrying out disobedience and riots and burning plastic covers and tools, which resulted in hundreds of fleeing from it.
