In Thuringia, the obligation to test for 2G-plus areas for people with a recent second vaccination or recent infection will no longer apply from Sunday.

Anyone who received the second vaccination, which is usually necessary for basic immunization, no more than three months ago, or who has been considered recovered for less than 90 days, can then go to fitness studios, arcades or hotspot regions in restaurants without a daily rapid test.

Erfurt - This emerges from the new Corona regulation of the Free State, which was signed on Friday and comes into force on Sunday.

Accordingly, from Sunday, people who have recovered and have received at least one vaccination before or after their infection can also go to these areas.

There is no time limit here.

So far, only people with a booster vaccination without a test have had access to areas where 2G-plus applies.

Those who had been vaccinated and those who had recovered had to bring a daily rapid test or a PCR test that was not more than 48 hours ago.

In Thuringia, 2G-plus applies, for example, in arcades, indoor areas of fitness studios or other leisure sports facilities such as dance schools.

In regions where the seven-day incidence is longer than 1000, 2G-plus also applies to body-related services, in hotels or restaurants.

However, the originally planned nationwide implementation of the federal and state resolution on 2G-plus in restaurants was not implemented in the regulation.

Thuringia had initially announced this, but postponed this week to the next prime ministers' conference.

Now the rule should be implemented at the earliest with the upcoming regulation in about two weeks.
