Food, handicrafts, and environmentally friendly recycling products manufactured and produced by women heads of household for their families included in the exhibition held in the Hall of the Hawraa Charitable Society in Salamiyah in the eastern countryside of Hama.
Safaa Hammoud, who is in charge of the association, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibits focused on the most prominent natural products manufactured by women in the Salamiyah area, through which they support their families and help them secure their living requirements.
Hammoud added that the exhibition also included tools and products from the environment that were recycled to be used in decorating homes, including paintings, works and various handbags.
Plastic artist Iman Shmeis explained in a statement to SANA that she participated in the exhibition with her works that embody the material heritage of the region by recycling things that no one needs, which provides her and her family with a financial return.
The plastic artist Hala Ajoub indicated that this exhibition highlights the efforts of women, their production and their keenness to develop themselves, indicating that their handicrafts of wool were well received by visitors to the exhibition.
