Members of the Hama Fire Brigade put out this evening a huge fire that broke out in the warehouse of a shoe factory on the Hama-Homs road, near the southern entrance to the city of Hama.
The commander of the Hama Fire Brigade, Brigadier Thaer Al-Hassan, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the firefighting crews were able to control the fire with difficulty due to the presence of plastic materials, artificial leather and highly flammable materials, noting that the fire that broke out in the warehouse of the Al-Idlibi shoe factory was caused by a short circuit due to its presence near a transformer. and electrical networks.
Al-Hassan clarified that the fire did not result in any casualties and its damages were limited to material.
