There was hardly anyone in Eichenried who didn't know "Schnitzler Hans".

Now his wife Helga, son Anton with family and all other relatives, friends and acquaintances are mourning Hans Kloh.

He succumbed to his disease at the age of 66 after only three months of aggressive leukemia.

- As the third of four children, he grew up with a sister and two brothers on his parents' "Schnitzler Hof". After school, he trained as an office clerk at BayWa Munich, but soon switched to field service as an agricultural machinery salesman. This activity was strongly influenced by the employment at the Lemken company.

Hans Kloh is particularly missing from SV Eichenried. He loses a dedicated, warm-hearted and loyal member. "Hans was taken from us far too soon," says Chairman Stefan Huber. He has been a member for more than five decades since 1968, went through several youth teams and played in the men's first team and in the reserve team, later in the AH. During his playing career, he played more than 500 games for the Green-Whites, most of which he played in defence. In addition, he took over the office of youth coach at a young age.

Above all, off the pitch, Hans Kloh did incredible things for the club. He was at the sports grounds almost every day and lent a hand. It was his second home. Regardless of whether it was about maintaining the outdoor facilities or organizing a party, you could rely on him. He had the bands ready in advance for the next few years or collected donations if the SVE wanted to build a fence or grandstand. “Our club grounds were always close to his heart and would not be what they are today without him. His handwriting is omnipresent,” says Huber.

With his positive, selfless manner, Hans Kloh managed to inspire everyone.

His tireless drive was neither reputation nor applause - he helped because he liked to do it.

Nothing was too bad for him, and it was thanks to him that several projects became possible.

His architectural legacy includes the grandstand, the fence, the forest bar and the garage roof, to name just a few of his most recent projects.

His greatest strength, however, was promoting cohesion in the club, even in the whole village.

He didn't like it when things crunched in the club.

Hans Kloh loved social life, his motto was: "Go out and talk, dahoam sterm d'Leid!"

"If I had to describe him briefly, I would say: Bavarian joie de vivre," says Huber.

"It was only last year when we were shooting a wedding video that he answered the question about his hobbies: football and a beer garden.

Hans was just a great guy with a big heart.

He helped everyone without exception.”

In addition to his merits in the association, he was also committed to the Eichenried village community.

"In my opinion, he was the unofficial integration officer for Eichenried." He visited every newly arrived family and invited them to a party or to football.

Without his efforts, the Bürgersaal would probably not be in Eichenried.

Most recently, he campaigned vehemently for the widening of the sidewalk on the B 388.

“We are stunned by the void his death leaves.

We can't fill this gap, but we're all trying to get a little closer together.

He will always be an important part of the SVE family.

We are incredibly proud that he was one of us.

We still can't believe that Eichenried's biggest heart has stopped beating," explains Huber.
