Hezbollah condemned the raids launched by the Saudi regime's warplanes on the central prison in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, describing it as a "heinous massacre".
A party statement, reported by Al-Manar TV today, said, “This heinous massacre confirms the brutality and barbarism of the forces of aggression and evil and their stripping of all human, moral and religious values, and it is a miserable compensation for the abject failure in the field confrontation on the battlefield.”
The statement added, "While we deplore the deadly silence that surrounds the world regarding these heinous massacres, we call on all free people everywhere to stand by the oppressed Yemeni people and condemn this crime and condemn the forces of aggression. We believe that the Yemeni people who have endured difficulties and pain throughout the past years are able to move forward." And strongly towards defeating aggression and achieving victory.”
The day before yesterday, the Saudi regime's warplanes launched raids on the central prison in Saada, killing more than 70 people and wounding more than 138 others. It also destroyed the communications building in the city of Hodeidah, killing 6 civilians, including 3 children, in addition to cutting off the Internet in all parts of Yemen.
