The presidential candidate held a meeting in front of some 4,600 supporters and with his new supporters Collard, Rivière and Peltier.

From the day before his arrival in the Alpes-Maritimes, Eric Zemmour's watchword was known: the union of all the rights. Distanced in most polls, six points behind his two direct competitors, Marine Le Pen and Valérie Pécresse, the presidential candidate assumes to see in this viaticum the secret of his

"reconquest"

. What better way to illustrate this than this land in the South where the association of the right and the National Front, for example, in 1986 made it possible to wrest the region from the left. After having punctuated the last few days with a succession of war prizes from the Les Républicains party, like Guillaume Peltier, and the National Rally, like MEPs Gilbert Collard and Jérôme Rivière, the essayist has brought them all together on the same stage, this Saturday, in Cannes.

“With Éric, we are for the borders, except for Reconquest!”,

jokes the thirty-year-old friend, Philippe de Villiers.

“You who believed in Le Pen, Pasqua, Seguin, Villiers or Sarkozy. You who are patriots, independents or republicans. You who were face to face yesterday and who are tonight are side by side. I launch the Call for Victories: let's join forces!

A union of the rights also seen as a remedy for the "class struggle" dear to some of its rivals who claim the divide between the working classes and the elite bloc.

On the stage, Eric Zemmour rediscovers the accents of his founding meeting in Villepinte. And recites to applause the story of the

“The theory of the 'cordon sanitaire' has trapped the right so well that it is now convinced of having invented it. Listen to Valérie Pécresse who rejects RN voters and begs the left for her title of “republican right”,

thunders the candidate who will not once quote his rival Marine Le Pen. But will reach out for a long time to those of his former voters – like those of LR – now refugees in abstention:

“refrain from abstaining.

You are right to be bitter, you are right to be angry.

This time, it's the good one […] with me, it's over with this sentence: '' what are we disappointed! '' We will not hear this sentence again.

To conclude, the candidate will cajole his audience with a long tirade on injustice.
