Months after the storm in which the Knesset member from the right claimed to have been attacked at a gas station - the affair will probably end in nothing • The police claim that the cooperation on her part was limited

It appears that the investigation file opened following a complaint by MK Idit Silman will be closed due to lack of evidence. This is after the investigative actions carried out, among other things, did not establish evidence or find a suspect in the act.

Recall that the investigation was opened last November in the Central District Police Fraud Unit following the Knesset officer's appeal after Silman informed him that there was a campaign of incitement and threats against her.

Then a claim arose before her two weeks earlier, she was attacked at a gas station on the outskirts of the city of Modi'in in the south.

According to her, during the period when she was under threat, an anonymous person approached her and pushed her hard.

The police began investigating the complaint, and among other things, collected testimony from a citizen who was present at the time that the Knesset member noted in her complaint.

But this testimony did not support what could answer a definition of assault.

Over the weekend, it became known that the police have now decided to recommend closing the case after the Knesset member's testimony did not contribute either.

Police sources noted that Silman's cooperation in the matter was "limited" and she did not provide too many details.

Official confirmation of the closure of the case by the police has not yet been received.

MK Silman has not yet commented.
