Interested parties can make a note: The apartments in BGZ 2 on Egerlandstraße in Geretsried should be ready for occupancy by the end of the year.
Geretsried – From the outside, hardly anything is changing on the major construction site in the city center: large protective tarpaulins surround the shell.
In the interior of BGZ 2 on Egerlandstraße there is even more happening.
The work has been running again for about a week after the almost 14-day Christmas winter break, the Geretsried building cooperative announced.
As far as the weather permits, the thermal insulation is currently being installed, the last windows are being installed and the first painting work is being carried out. Many different trades are also busy indoors: in addition to screed, painting and dry construction work, the expansion of the electrical, heating and sanitary installations are in full swing. "Fortunately, the new building has currently been spared major material shortages and corona-related staff shortages," the statement said. There is currently no delay in the construction schedule, and completion, which is planned for this fall, is still assured.
The first sections of the Egerlandstraße were handed over to the city of Geretsried for restoration last year.
The cooperation with the municipality runs in close coordination.
Depending on the weather, this work is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
The building cooperative wants to start renting out the 93 apartments soon: "Anyone interested in a privately financed apartment can still register without obligation," writes Ursula Hölzl, assistant to the management.
A corresponding form can be found on the homepage of the building cooperative.
Interested parties will probably be contacted from the end of March/beginning of April.
The move into the apartments is planned for the end of the year.

Those interested in the two to three smaller commercial units on the ground floor and the office unit on the first floor can also find more information on the building cooperative's homepage.
The large commercial units (Rossmann drugstore and Aldi discounter) and the restaurant area, also on the ground floor, have already been allocated.
