Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed in a telephone conversation the issue of the implementation of the agreements concluded between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on border demarcation.
The Kremlin press office reported today that "the practical aspects of implementing the agreements recorded in the tripartite statement of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on November 9, 2020, and on January 11 and November 26, 2021, including issues related to the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border) were discussed. .
The two sides discussed prospects for further cooperation within the CSTO, taking into consideration the current presidency of Armenia in the organization.
Earlier, during a telephone conversation on the initiative of the Armenian side, the two sides confirmed the effectiveness of the recently coordinated actions of the Peacekeeping Unit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Kazakhstan.
