Residents reported tonight (Saturday) an earthquake that was felt in the north of the country.
The reports were heard in Tiberias, Safed, the Krayot, the Jordan Valley and Beit She'an.
A previous earthquake was felt in the country last week.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Institute (EMSC), the epicenter felt around 3:07 was two kilometers deep.
Also, residents across the country said they felt the quake.
The Seismology Division of the Geological Survey of Israel reported that the noise was felt in Israel 369 kilometers northwest of Nahariya.
Also, the magnitude of the quake measured by the wing was 5.6.
According to the police statement, hundreds of inquiries were received from Israeli citizens who claimed to have felt the noise originating in Cyprus.
The Egyptian Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics estimated the magnitude of the earthquake at 6.6 and reported that it was felt in Cairo.
