Police opened an investigation this evening (Saturday) upon receiving a report from Assaf Harofeh Hospital regarding the arrival of a gunshot wounded woman, a 36-year-old Ramla resident in critical condition, when after resuscitation attempts, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation was opened following a report from the hospital to the police about the arrival of a gunshot wounded woman who was brought independently to the medical center from the Jawarish neighborhood in Ramla and that her death was determined at the hospital after resuscitation attempts failed.

The police located the scene of the incident, and began collecting findings from it, at the same time as opening directions for an investigation.

It should be noted that this is the seventh murdered woman in Arab society since the beginning of the month.

The Avraham Initiatives Association pointed out that in the past year, 121 people in the Arab sector have been murdered.

Of which 106 are citizens and 19 are non-citizens.

Of all those killed, 16 are women.
