Suspicion of murder in Ramla: 36-year-old shot dead, police search for suspect

The woman's death, Suhila Mugrabi, was determined after resuscitation attempts at Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

Ramla police officers opened an investigation, scanning for the suspect along with collecting findings at the scene, to examine the background and circumstances.

This is the second murder case in the last two days, after Saturday 28 was stabbed to death in the Galilee landscape by her husband

A 36-year-old Ramla resident was shot tonight (Saturday) in the city. The woman's death, Suhila Mugrabi, was determined after resuscitation attempts at Assaf Harofeh Hospital, where she was evacuated in critical condition, and police opened an investigation. Ramla police officers are conducting searches after the offense, along with collecting findings at the scene, to examine the background and circumstances.

The Aman Center has updated that Suhila Mugrabi is the seventh murdered woman since the beginning of the year, and the second woman among them. Of these cases, no case has yet been resolved.

This is the second murder in the last two days of a woman from Arab society, after 28-year-old Rasmia Swan from the Galilee landscape was stabbed to death in her apartment on Thursday. Her husband, Mahmoud Arslan, who confessed to the act, called police shortly before 1am at night and told police he had murdered his wife. Swan was in her fifth month of pregnancy, and the couple has a 3-year-old child.

The two moved to the Galilee landscape and moved from Nazareth several years ago.

The husband worked as a food technician, and the wife as a call center.

It is still unclear what preceded the murder.

The police have not received any complaints in the past about incidents of violence between the couple, Arslan has no criminal record and the family is also not known to the welfare services.
