The Directorate of Education in As-Suwayda has set the start time for the exams of its institutes subjects during the current week at exactly ten in the morning instead of eight in the morning as previously scheduled, due to the prevailing weather conditions and ensuring the arrival of students on time.
The Director of Education in Suwayda, Bassam Abu Mahmoud, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the time for the start of exams for this week’s subjects has been delayed, and on the other hand, a new date has been set for the exams that were postponed on the 19th and 20th of this month to the 23rd and 24th of this month, for each of Institutes of commercial and banking technology, industrial home economics, music education, and applied and plastic art education.
Abu Mahmoud pointed out that any weather emergency will be dealt with, and any new developments will be announced in a timely manner.
The Directorate of Education postponed the exams for its institutes on Wednesday and Thursday, due to snowfall and ice formation in many areas of the governorate.
