88 members of the pro-establishment Legislative Council today (22nd) jointly signed a strong condemnation of the European Parliament for blatantly violating international law and basic norms of international relations and wantonly interfering in Hong Kong affairs and China's internal affairs.

Among the 90 members of the Legislative Council, the election committee Jie Jiang Yuhuan and the non-establishment faction and new thinking Di Zhiyuan did not jointly sign.

The resolution "On Violations of Fundamental Freedoms in Hong Kong" urges Beijing to repeal the "Hong Kong National Security Law", and is concerned about the legitimacy of China's attempts to establish authoritarianism at home and abroad, and calls on the EU to impose sanctions on Hong Kong and mainland officials who violate human rights, and even calls on companies to impose sanctions and boycott Beijing Winter Olympics.

88 pro-establishment lawmakers issued a statement saying that the "Hong Kong National Security Law" effectively protects national security, the personal safety, rights and freedoms of citizens.
